- Taught Spanish IA, IB, and levels 1-3 and Spanish for Spanish Speakers at various middle and high schools across the District for six years
- Contributed to a PLC at Green Bay Preble High School on developing common assessments for World Language curriculum in Spanish
- Organized and led two separate Spanish student groups from Green Bay West and Green Bay Southwest High Schools to Costa Rica (2005) and Spain (2007)
- Led World Languages Department at Washington Middle School as Department Head
- Served on World Languages curriculum adoption team 2011
Instructional Technology Support Teacher (2008-2010)
- Supported instructional technology programming across 10 PK-12 District schools, including Title I schools
- Planned and delivered effective professional learning sessions to teachers, Administrators, and support staff based on District-approved programs
- Worked with the Instructional Technology Support Teacher team to plan, train and implement the new Microsoft network and VoIP telephone system
- Designed lessons and team-taught with teachers at assigned schools to integrate technology into approved curriculum for student projects
- Worked hands-on with the District's Virtual Learning team to develop online programming for students
- Participated as a member of the District Oversight Committee on the Implementation of Technology (DOC-IT) to write the District's Technology Plan in accordance for approval with the WI Department of Public Instruction
- Supported various curriculum adoption teams with new instructional technology tools
- Acted as a Moodle Building Level Administrator to train teachers in using Moodle for an online course presence
- Worked closely with District's Professional Learning team to develop and implement workshop sessions for District para-professionals in Technology
- Teamed with building LMS on technology integration projects at my assigned schools
- Troubleshooted technical problems on a variety of levels, including those to do with the District's SIS and standards-based reporting system at the elementary level
- Installed and taught teachers and staff to use newly purchased technology equipment in classrooms, i.e., projection systems, Anchor speakers, document cameras, interactive whiteboards and handheld devices
- Led various New Employee and New Teacher Orientation sessions at the District level to help attendees navigate District-approved software programs
